As the DAO landscape shifts, I believe the best course of action for the community to stay in touch and receive updates is via email rather than Discord. To that end, I propose beginning weekly update posts on the Re-Public blog.
Because the blog runs on Ghost, subscribers to the blog will receive these updates via email, like a newsletter.
I’m also a part of JournoDAO, and we’ve been going in the same direction. It seems to have helped the people who want to keep track of what we’re up to but don’t want to learn a new piece of software like Discord.
Here’s an example post:
I’ll be the champion for this weekly task and make sure it happens. As part of this I’ll also keep an ongoing thread in Discord of what should be included each week. Anyone can post to the thread and I’ll include the posts in the update.
